Privacy Policy

Smart Converter is built around a simple, absolute privacy standard: your data belongs to you, and we never access or upload it.

1. Zero Server-Side File Processing

Every operation performed inside the Smart Converter workspace (including image formats compression, audio transcoding, video compiling, and PDF modifications) runs entirely on your local CPU and GPU.

Your documents, images, and clips are loaded directly into browser memory (RAM) and are converted using client-side JavaScript, Web Workers, and WebAssembly modules. We do not operate any file storage, backend conversion nodes, or remote staging databases.

2. Information Collection & Tracking

Because all files remain local to your computer, Smart Converter does not collect:

  • Uploaded file contents or formats.
  • Individual conversion rates or quantities.
  • Personally identifiable information (PII) linked to your files.

We do not use tracking cookies to build user profiles. We do not sell, rent, or share user data with advertising networks or third-party marketing firms.

3. Currency Conversion API Calls

When using the currency converter module, live exchange rates are fetched from our public endpoints. These requests contain no user identity or transaction history. We only fetch exchange ratios to perform calculations locally on your screen.

4. Third-Party Integrations

This site is hosted as a static web application on global CDN nodes. Static hosting environments automatically log basic network parameters (such as IP address, user-agent, and request timestamp) for security audits and performance tuning. These server logs are standard across the internet and are not correlated with file data.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy statement occasionally to reflect modifications in local libraries or system tools. We advise users to review this page periodically to stay informed about our data handling protocols.
